Art of Living Faculty | Transformational Life Coach

Let’s Talk

“Build the courage and resilience to turn every challenge into an opportunity. Live a thriving life of humble fulfillment and inner joy.”

I grew up in India, immersed in ancient practices passed down through generations. I didn’t know then that I’d spend the next 25 years testing those practices against the hardest realities I could find.

From refugee camps in Gujarat after the 2001 earthquake, to boardrooms in New York and Mumbai, to silent retreats in the mountains — I’ve sat with every kind of human struggle. What I’ve seen, consistently: when the inner world shifts, everything shifts.

“I help you shed limitations to rekindle your strength and bring your desired change.”

As a member of The Art of Living and the International Association for Human Values — both present in over 150 countries — Shobha has built a rare dual expertise: as a faculty member teaching over 20 specialized courses, and as an international coordinator of service initiatives that have impacted hundreds of thousands of lives worldwide.

With over 25 years of dedicated service spanning every sector of society, Shobha has led programs in corporate development, government stress relief and human development workshops, United Nations initiatives against female feticide and early child forced marriages, reforestation campaigns, Educationalist Empowerment Conferences, stress management trainings for military and paramilitary forces, prison and drug rehabilitation programs, and trauma relief workshops following natural calamities.

Currently Shobha resides in the United States and Costa Rica, and travels throughout the world teaching advanced meditation and stress relief workshops, organizing volunteers, and coordinating international programs that advance Gurudev’s mission of uplifting human values and creating a stress-free world.

Finding Her Path

Meeting Gurudev and Coming Home

From a young age, Shobha felt a deep calling for service and an inner search for a spiritual guide who could point the way. That search ended in 2001 when she met Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. In his presence she experienced what she had been looking for her entire life, a profound sense of coming home. His unconditional love, quiet care, and unwavering mission of uplifting humanity touched her at a depth no words can fully capture. In that moment, everything aligned: her calling, her path, and the guide she had always been seeking.

Since then, she has devoted her life to advancing that calling by spreading his teachings. Over 25 years of direct training and experience with Gurudev and the Art of Living, she has reached hundreds of thousands of people across 15 countries, carrying an ancient lineage forward through modern, evidence-based impact.

What I Believe

Ancient Wisdom

The practices that have sustained human beings for thousands of years are not accidents. They work because we are built for them.

Evidence & Science

Ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience are not opposites. The best of both is more powerful than either alone.

Real Change

Real change is not a reframe or a productivity hack. It’s a shift in the inner world that makes everything else possible.
